Patrick Abstract was started by “abstractor” Robert B. Patrick in the 1940’s in Three Rivers, Michigan. Mr. Patrick provided abstract services to the banks, savings and loans and attorneys in the county. As the real estate development continued to grow, the “abstract” was replaced by Title Insurance. In the mid 1980’s Patrick Abstract and Title Office was formed. In order to facilitate real estate transactions a closing and escrow department was added. This has resulted in a long standing legacy that we’re proud to carry forward.
Today, our staff represents a combined experience of over 200 years in the title industry, and also includes experience in financial, lending and real estate sales. Our examiners utilize our own in-house tract index while also incorporating the Register of Deeds online services. These resources allow for a comprehensive search process. Our closing agents facilitate closings and stay up to date on current policies and procedures and follow the ALTA Best Practices requirements in our industry to ensure accurate and professional closings.
